Like it or not New York Times, you have BLOOD on your hands. You helped sell Cheney and Bush’s war. You had a role in the deaths of thousands of American soldiers. You are key player in the Military-Industiral Complex that Eisenhower warned us about.

The times they are a changin. How about your paper?

I can’t tell you enough how amazing you everyone at the NYT-SE are. How in the hell did you pull it off? This one is going down in history. I’ve never been presented such a clear vision of peace and social justice ever before. You’ve help me dream bigger than I’ve ever dreamt before. Have you thought about making this a daily??

” Our victims know us by their wounds” and their chains: that makes their testimony irrefutable as all they have to show is what we have
done to them and in that way find out what we have done to ourselves”.

Reality is better, but we have to work together. The last 8 years was
a cruel experience for the world, especially to the american people.

It’s a shift in mindset that is needed, and I can imagine how many Americans felt their hearts soar when they read that front cover.

To Etek OP: The more people that truly desire an end to Iraq and Afghanistan, and keep that thought in their minds, the harder it will be for the administration to maintain. History proves that nicely.

It’s hard to see your point of view on and end to Iraq bringing the world economy crashing down. Isn’t that already happening?

Thank you for such a wonderful act of “disobedience”!

I am jealous that nobody in Germany has thought about such a great “provocative act” yet. It will not only wake up responsible managers, politians, officials but hopefully responsible citizens all over the world to start not only to think and talk about what they urgently need and want but to act upon it as well. No longer leave others to set standards for your life - do it yourself!

As I passed these out, the best response I got was, “So is this like a…hope tactic?” At first I laughed, but then I thought about it for a second and said, “yes, that’s exactly what it is.”
It is extremely difficult in this world of skepticism and cynicism to construct an action that is effective without being alienating to the average person. Yet the creators of this action manage to do it every time. So glad I got to be part of it.

This just overwhelmed me with the oppressive sorrow of knowing it is a mere reprieve in the shape of a dream… We will all still re-awaken to our endless nightmare in this carnivorous fishbowl. Is your intent here to rub our noses in it? God tells Bush to kill in some absurd alter-reality, papers sell lies to their paying public and it’s just another business day. What is the going rate to sell out your fellow man?

Comment on November 15, 2008 02:43 am

Excellent idea, even better: to publish at least once a month an edition reversing the lies-covered news of the New York Times with reversed information presenting instead a positive, brilliant future, what we envision and dream of, as you did with the July 4th, 2009 edition, which is contrary to the Illuminati mind-controlled terror-driven news depicted in the New York Times which serves no other than the power elite. That whole building is managed by Satanists.

“Traffic” said best when the said “You can all join in”…Here’s a little song you can all join in with

It’s very simple and I hope it’s new

Make your own words up if you want to

Any old words that you think will do, yeah

Yellow, blue, what’ll I do? Maybe I’ll just sit here thinking

Black, white, stop the fight, does one of these colours ever bother you?

Here’s a little dance you can all join in with

It’s very simple and I hope it’s new

Make your own steps up if you want to

Any old steps that you think will do

Left, right, don’t get uptight, keep in line and you’ll be alright

Clap hands, move around, make sure no one puts you down

Here’s a little world you can all join in with

It’s very simple and I hope it’s new

Make your own life up if you want to

Any old life that you think will do

Love, yeah, it’s nothing new, there’s someone much worse off than you are

Help me set them free, just be what you want to be

85. Greetings from Pakistan

Well done “Special” New York Times guys!
Very nicely planned and excellently pulled-off! The level of hope you carry for the future is indeed enviable. It’s pleasantly contagious. Although you missed out on ending the war that the Bush government gave us (read: gifted us), here in Afghan-Pakistan region, but I am positive that sooner or later reason will prevail over your government’s hegemonic designs, hope will triumph over the ultimate brutality of your war-making machine and I dare imagine that on another bright day like this, U.S. will stop ‘liberating’ us and it will learn not to export the ‘democracy-of-terrorism’ to countries it just wants to be in. I wish I could only emphasize it anymore: People here don’t hate you because you are Americans, but only when you force us to be Americanish!
We wish you peace and a speedy recovery from the present economic illness that you have fallen into. May the 4th of July next, bring the best of your dreams to life. Ameen.

Now that the war is over, where are all these troops going to find suitable employment? Now if Polish immigrants can pick potatoes in Great Britain, why can’t we do the same in America? I’m all for a cap on wages, but the living wage law has yet to be fully implemented and the immigration question is still big on people’s minds. Let’s just issue a border pass to anyone who wants to work or live in this country and guarantee wages so that anybody who wants to work can afford to do so with dignity and pride. It’s time to do away with Homeland Security and just register newcomers. The security of our nation is in the trust of each other.
